I saw Tyler on my birthday this year. I'd been wanting to see him for about 10 years, and it finally happened. Funny story — I actually used to hate his music, couldn't understand why people listened to him, until I heard "November" in 2019. Shortly after that I got familiar with his entire discography, all the way back to the Odd Future days with Frank and the crew. I love his brutally honest lyrics mixed with his goofy-as-hell personality. But what intrigues me most is how passionate he is about what he does — it makes me want to be like that in my own work. From his insane flow on "I Hope You Find Your Way Home" on car rides, to blasting "Big Poe" trying to break 5 minutes in the mile, Tyler's music is always in rotation.

Dominic Fike is my favorite artist of all time. I started listening to him in the summer of 2021 — not sure why I wasn't familiar with him before. The first song I heard was "Why," and I was immediately intrigued. "What Could Possibly Go Wrong" is, to this day, my most listened-to album ever — every single song on it points to a certain memory and feeling in my life. I've seen him live six times now, and I love everything about his music. I think he's the greatest artist in the world. This particular show was special because it was a close-knit Dominic crowd at a small venue. I'd seen him two hours earlier at Lollapalooza itself, opening for Sabrina Carpenter — he did amazing, but there were way too many Sabrina fans who didn't know his music. I could tell he felt way more comfortable at this aftershow, and the energy was unmatched.

This was my third time seeing West 22nd live. I met them in the summer of 2023 while I was living in Austin, through one of their friends, and I immediately loved their music and their whole vibe. It's been awesome watching them come up and succeed — I hope they grow to be the biggest indie rock band in the world.

This was my first time seeing Kuhsigh, at the House of Brazil in NYC. Super cool show. I've been listening to him since 2022 — the first song I heard was "Waste No Day," off some random Spotify playlist, and he's been one of my favorite rappers ever since. Four years later, I still can't understand why he isn't a massive artist yet. I try to put everyone I know onto him. Got to meet him and his manager afterward — very nice, genuine people. I'd gotten my wisdom teeth out two days before this show and probably shouldn't have gone, but the second I saw he was in the city, I knew I couldn't miss it.

Frank has always been one of my favorite artists. "Nights" is my favorite song ever — I cherish it so much that I can only play it on certain occasions. I really enjoyed Frank's set despite all the criticism around it. The anticipation was unmatched; I got there super early in the day, one of the first people there. I didn't drink any water all day because I didn't want to have to go pee. I was surrounded by die-hard Frank fans, everyone excited all day to see him. When he started playing "Novacane," it became one of the most vivid memories I have. It felt unreal. From the EDM version of "White Ferrari" to the performance of his unreleased track "Come On World, You Can't Go!" the set felt so personal, one of a kind.

Like pretty much every high schooler at the time, Astroworld was my favorite rap album when it came out, so I had really high hopes for Utopia. I told myself if Utopia was good, I'd buy floor tickets to the tour. I thought it would take a full listen to decide, but really it took until the fourth song — when Sampha's two-line feature on "My Eyes" sealed it. I'll never forget that moment for the first time. At the concert, my friend and I pushed all the way up to the second row, and Travis was right there singing it, looking straight down at me. I'm convinced we were making eye contact; I was going bar for bar. Travis's energy is unmatched. He's so in love with music that it's a thrill just to watch him perform. His crowd control is effortless yet perfect — I've never seen anyone like him before. He deserves all the credit in the world.
